The lesson of the tree by the waterfall

I live near to a very special waterfall, and whenever I can I enjoy the invigorating bath and the elemental beauty. In this view that I see, there is always this tree in the middle, which blockade the complete view of the waterfall. I accept, and enjoy the landscape. One day I realized: this tree IS there! It does not (only) block the full view of the waterfall, it exists there, with property. And for much longer than my dissatisfied contemplation. Then I perceive its existence with presence, and I revere it. I climb its branches to learn more about its point of view (so full of the waterfall). I remain silent in its lap, I put my ear to its body, and I feel its green heart beat. I meditate in contemplation of its internal (non)sound, and with the openness of an apprentice I listen to its advice-story. The tree said:
"I am always seeing the water flows down (down). And that didn't stop me from growing (up). On the contrary: The force of the water fulfilling its purpose of descending and nourishing, nourished me to be the tree that I am, growing tall high. That's how we are. Diverse, complementary."
Be who you truly are, your essence nourishes you and everyone around you. A nutrition-inspiration loop. Aho, life!
